The Santander Foundation 2016 has announced a competition for musicians and pop rock bands from the 27 European Countries

The Santander Foundation 2016 is posting a musical talent contest, organised together with MySpace, to find the best unsigned European band or solo artist of pop rock.
It has put together a continental event which is open to groups from the 27 countries belonging to the European Union. The bands of each country will be able to enter this competition thanks to the collaboration between all of the regional offices of MySpace spread across Europe. The record label Subterfuge will also collaborate in the organisation of this event.
From the 13th of March the bands will be able to submit their entry and their demos on the profile of MySpace on www.myspace.com/eurodemosantander2016. The competition will be open until the 13th of May.
The solo artist or group that is selected from each country will compete in the grand final which will take place in Santander in November. There will be several prize categories, including one for the illustrators and another for the best group or solo artist of Cantabria. The first prize for the musical category is awarded 30.000€ which has now become one of the best prizes in the European music scene.
